Cubs Game @ Wrigley Field

It has been a month now since we have moved to the Midwest! These Chicago suburbs are full of new things for us to check out.

We have enjoyed a night out at Wrigley Field watching the Chicago Cubs play ball. We met up with our friend Andy who lives in the area as well. It was so nice to see a familiar face in our new city. Andy showed us around and we learned how to ride the "L" trains. Crazy how many people can fit into one space! Before we got to the game, we had the biggest piece of pizza ever and so good…we have yet to try the true Chicago style pizza…that is next!

Wrigley Field is a fun atmosphere with and old ballpark feel. Jerad and I have only been to one ballpark back at home at Safeco Field, so it was fun to experience and new ballpark. It was a sunny evening that ended by a HUGE thunderstorm that began with pouring rain and wind. The cubs were winning and then called the game. Lightning was crackling around the sky of the city of Chicago - it was awesome! Rain was coming down like I've never seen it. The one thing we learned quickly here in Illinois is...when it rains...it POURS!!

Largest piece of pizza I've ever had!
