First House Guests

Yesterday we were so excited to have our cousins Dan and Kymber over for the night. They came up from Peoria, IL which is about 2.5 hours south of us. It was fun to have them stay with us before they headed into Michigan to go camping. We spent the evening catching up over a lasagna dinner and then played some Farkle - the dice game full of risk! It was hilarious since the two rounds we played, our luck was so random. If you have never played it check it out!

Kymber just graduated from her nursing school with her BSN, and will be taking the Barr Exam soon to be a Registered Nurse. So proud of her! Jerad and I were bummed we couldn't make it to her graduation, so we were glad we could continue the celebration at our house. For dessert I made a fresh fruit salad and baked a blueberry lemon loaf. My friend Christine baked it recently and posted it on her blog - so happy I tried it because it was delicious and i will defiantly be making it again!

Summer Favorite!
